Hi Everyone!

Time for a little Paper Issues Product Spotlight!
Today we shine the lights on Crate Paper's Snow & Cocoa collection!

All things Winter wonderland! Love it!
The color palette in this collection is gorgeous! Cool pinks and blues with black and white too!
I've actually made a few layouts with this fun Winter line - because it really is so easy to memory keep with!
But enough chatter - here's my layout ,

"Snowflake Kisses"

This is just the sweetest!
As soon as I saw that ephemera quote I knew I had to use this pic for my layout.
Naturally, I needed to add a few snowflakes to create my blizzard too ;) Super cute!
That teal snowflake patterned paper is divine! Makes me think of Frozen!
Here's a closer view.....

As always, there are the cutest coordinating embellishments in this Crate Paper line!

And check out the chipboard stickers!!! LOVE!

And truly, if snowflakes were kisses I would send this kid more than a blizzard - love him so!

And that's my layout for the spotlight today!

Paper Issues: Moonstruck Pretties!

Hi Friends!

My turn on the Paper Issues blog,
&
 today I am sharing a layout from my new favorite collection;
Pink Paislee's  Moonstruck.
Here's a quick looksee at this stunning collection - if you haven't already seen it!

Moonstruck Retailer

This collection is SO very pretty it makes me swoon!
From butterflies, to blooms & moonlight pretties this collection has it all!
Perfect for scrapping my girl with!

So now that you've seen it, here's my layout,

"Beautiful"

Gorgeous, huh?!
As soon as I laid my eyes on that stunning floral paper, I knew I was going to fussy cut it!

But as I was cutting out all these pretty blooms, I fell in love with the reverse side too!
That gorgeous black and white gingham design is just so striking!
So for this layout, I did end up using 2 sheets of Moonstruck Paper No. 2, and I may have bought more...lol!
I also really loved the gold foiled ephemera too!
Let's take a closer look......

In usual Pink Paislee style, there's a terrific array of ephemera in this collection!
 Pretty, pretty!!!
That gold foil really is something!!!
And how about those super cute puffy stickers?!!

I love the detailed blooms in paper No.2!
& while fussy cutting requires patience, it always looks amazing!

And there you have it!
Moonstruck pretties!!!
Hope my layout has inspired you to get creating too!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Sunshine SUMMER Fun!

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!
Today I am sharing a soft, delicate Summer layout with the new
I love that this collection can invoke both fun and excitement, whilst maintaining an elegant and soft feel! Very clever designs and the prettiest of patterns! Today I have used the 'B' sides of these gorgeous papers - but I doubt you'll notice it, as they're hardly a reverse side at all! Just Stunning!!!
Let's take a look at my latest layout with Endless Summer,
"Sunshine SUMMER Fun"
img_20161116_130704-1
Isn't this a perfect mix of Summer cheer, playfulness and sweet pastels?!!
Love the colour palette in Endless Summer - it really is SO pretty!
I was drawn in by that gorgeous green paper, SUNBLEACHED CV-ES006, (the reverse side) & it is just DIVINE!
This colour inspired my entire layout. It used it to guide my embellishment selection and watercolour mixed media base too.
However, green can feel a little to 'cold' for a Summer layout,  so I teamed it up with that awesome woodgrain paper paper, SWEET TREATS CV-ES001 . The warmth of the woodgrain, combined with the Wood Veneers and Woodies really balances the greens, and allows for the introduction of those sweeter Summer hues. I should add here, that I find it very hard to believe that such a stunning, distressed woodgrain paper can be a 'B' side - but that's evidence of how fabulous these pattern papers are!
Enough chatter, let's take a closer look at my layout.....
img_20161116_131431
How totally awesome are the Puffy Stickers here?!! LOVE them! The script words are so beautifully cut, and those tiny hearts are the sweetest!
I adore that Woodies button too! The colour, and the sentiment - it just couldn't get any more perfect! Love indeed!
Here's another view of the puffy heart stickers & that veneer flamingo!
img_20161116_131600
Nothing says Summer like a flamingo embellishment! Too cute!
And, "Oh Yeah" how about that flair!
img_20161116_131715
The woodgrain pattern in the flair - simply perfection!
You'll also spy some sweet Accessory Stickers including that cool 'seaside' one! Awesome!
And let's not forget all the fabulous Die Cut Ephemera!
img_20161116_131851
Despite the vertical layout design, I couldn't help but use those fabulous die cuts across my page. I split the word SUMMER with my photograph in the centre, creating a cross design. This added real interest, and draws you into my precious photo. To make it all gel together, I layered it onto a watercolour base in  green, and then added splatters in the fun Summery colours. Gorgeous!
img_20161116_132045
So much Summer FUN!
I love how soft and pretty this turned out!
Hope I have inspired you to get creating with the B sides of Endless Summer!

Paper Issues: November: Mix It Up Monday

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back for more Paper Issues fun!
Time for this month's installment of
Yay! I love this challenge - it's always such fun to get messy!!!
This month we're focusing on using our inks and stamping in our layouts.
Here's my layout,

"Crazy Fun"

This kid is ALWAYS crazy fun!!! Love him!
And how cool is my take on the challenge?!!
I have used the stunning Indigo Hills collection from Pinkfresh Studio - looooooove this line!
I had a ton of fun creating this background.
I stamped a mixed media stencil in Versa Ink: Royal Blue, made my own liquid colours from soluble ink pads plus water (& splattered), plus I also used some good ole fashioned stamping with Staz On ink in black.
The stamps are all from the Pinkfresh Studio: Indigo Hills set.
Let's take a closer look......

How awesome is all that stamping?!! Love it!
That gold foiled wood veneer clip is also a stunner - I mean, seriously, gold foil veneers?!!!
Pinkfresh Studio is just so contemporary & on-trend!

Those pattern paper circles have been punched from the pattern paper, 'Dover'.
That rubber charm is a cutie too! Also, it coordinates perfectly with the stamp set - yay!

So much awesome!

My favorite boy indeed!

Hope you feel inspired by my take on this month's Mix It Up Monday challenge!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Endless Summer: So Sweet!

Hi Cocoa Vanilla Friends & Fans!
Today I am super-dee-duper excited to be sharing my first official layout with the latest
Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection;
cv-es-logo-long
This collection is prettiness overload!
Mints, pinks, pastels, & delicate patterns with sweet notes of Summer! What could be more perfect?!
But rather than rave, let's allow my layout to do the talking - after all, a picture says a thousand words....
"So Sweet"
img_20161109_123620
And truly, this girl really is so sweet! Picture perfect, indeed!
How divine are the colours in this layout though?! Mint with corals and pastel pretties!!! LOVE!
I immediately fell in love with the Aloha Sunshine pattern paper and knew it would be perfect for fussy cutting!
I mean, all those hibiscus beauties! Too much gorgeousness here - I just had to make a feature of it all!
Here's a closer look....
img_20161108_205658
To support those fussy cut clusters, I've also used hibiscus die cuts from the ephemera pack, as well as some gorgeous butterfly stickers from the Accessory Stickers sheet.
*Please note: the typewriter font stickers are from the Love Always Accessory Stickers sheet*
To add warmth to all that minty green, I've also used a few wood veneer shapes.....
img_20161108_210805
You'll also spy some gorgeous enamel dots too! I love how the colours of these dots coordinate with the entire collection! Making it so easy to embellish your projects!
How cute is the tiny bunting ephemera below my photograph...
img_20161108_210922
I adore that sweet banner! But it's those fussy cut flowers that really make my layout sing! SO pretty!!!img_20161108_211121
To add texture to this layout, I used soft watercolour washes and splatter, as well as double stitching a border on the cardstock. That DIVINE mint stripe backing paper is called Coastal Chill and I swear, I may buy 20 sheets of this paper!!! I just LOVE this pattern and colour!!!
Stripes are always a win for me! Just look at that sweet striped butterfly sticker - awesome, huh?!
img_20161108_211229
But if you're more of a spotty dotty kinda fan, no worries, Endless Summer will meet your needs too ;)
