But enough chattering, here's my layout;
"Wonderful"
I know - isn't this just DIVINE?!!
So soft and delicate and yet just a tad messy too!!!
That stunning background has been created with
I used the bagging technique combined with a very wet brush to layer on the blue.
The pink was used very sparingly (with a fine brush) to add just a little balance to the page.
Here's a closer look.....
Soooooooooooo pretty!
How awesome are all the Free Spirit embellishments?!! The alphabet stickers, the puffy stickers, the die cut ephemera, the flair, the woodies and wood veneers - it's all gorgeous! You can check out the

Wonderful indeed!
The Lindy's Magicals really make any layout 'pop' and become something a little more special!
How cool is that glitter gold flair?!! Love, love, LOVE!!!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Mixed Media LOVE!

Hi my gorgeous friends!
Welcome back for more Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Love Always inspiration!
Today I have a stunning mixed media page that I think you're going to love! I wanted to demonstrate that despite this collections delicacy it's still perfect for bright splashes of paint - but rather than tell you about it, here it is.....
"LOVE"
IMG_20160812_131210 I know, isn't this stunning?!! So many pretty details! And oh, that background - swoon!
That sweet Geo Heart Cutfile is from the Colour Me Happy collection, but everything else on this page is from the beautiful Love Always collection. And honestly, I can't get enough of Love Always! It is so delicate and divine!
Let's take a closer look at this layout....
IMG_20160812_131337Isn't the die cut ephemera just gorgeous?! The detailing on those butterflies!!!! And those sweet blooms - they have a watercolour wash to them which originally inspired my use of watercolours on this layout. You'll also spy some sequins from the Bits & Pieces pkt, and those sparkle enamel dots. Here's another view.....
IMG_20160812_131559
How sweet are the ombre alpha stickers! To make mine 'pop' against my painty background, I've outlined them with a fine tip black pen. This also aids to connect the sticker title to the striped pattern paper, Twin Set & the detailed ephemera butterflies.
IMG_20160812_131720
This makes me so happy indeed! The Cocoa Vanilla Studio flair are always a perfect finishing touch to any page!
IMG_20160812_131910 There's quite a lot of embellishments to this page - the cutfile heart, sequins, ephemera, enamel dots, stickers, a few vellum leaves & that flair! But I really need to mention the pattern papers. The Twin Set paper is my favourite in the collection - I received 4 sheets, and I've already bought more! LOVE the stripes!!! The other paper that you see layered beneath those black stripes, is actually the reverse side of Twin Set ( Pretty awesome when you can't refer to it as a "B" side because it's too fabulous!)
And there you have it! Quite a simple layout design, but because every element corresponds, it's always a winner! And I think my  watercolour inspired background worked a treat ;)
Hope I've inspired you to get your Love Always papers out & start scrapping up a storm (& maybe some mixed  media fun too!)
Til next time,

Simple Stories: Sunshine & Happiness Inspiration

Hi Creatives!
Hope you're all well & enjoying the cooler months!
Not me - gah!
I loathe Winter - so it was a scrapbook dream when I received the new
from my friends at Shop & Crop Scrapbooking to warm up with! :)
This collection is bright, fun, contemporary & all about celebrating the Summer!
(I know, it's a match made in heaven for me!)
But enough chatter, here's the two layouts I have created so far with it....
"Hello #FUN"

Isn't this fun indeed?!! So many sweet pattern papers and the cutest embellies ever!
I love all the Simple Stories Elements stickers - they're too cool! They coordinate perfectly and they come included in the Collection Kit that you can buy here.
Here's a couple close ups...

More of those too cute stickers and a few die cuts too!  Awesomeness!

Told you the stickers were the cutest! I mean that bunting?!! And such a fun collection for celebrating those Summer moments with!

And how about that super sweet brad sticker?!! Love it!!!

And here's my second layout....

#SummerFUN

Naww! Isn't that pic the cutest?!
And again, how perfect is this collection for Summer?!!
More awesome pattern papers that are just too much fun!
I am loving the Emoji brads and stickers too! More sunshine and happiness ;)
You can order those sticker brads here
Let's take a closer look...

Such a bright and playful colour palette! Everything about this collection sings Summer FUN!!!

Oh! And those pretty little blue droplets? Well, they're from Shop & Crop Scrapbooking too!
I've used watered down Tiffany Lou's Blue for this layout. You can check them out here. A few little drips is all you need to recreate this look!
And that's all I have time for today!
I hope you've enjoyed viewing my layouts and feel inspired to create with

Cocoa Vanilla Studio & All The Planner Things!!!

Hi Creative Friends & Happy Planners!
Welcome back!
So excited to be with you today to share a little planner love with the new
For those of you that don't follow me, I am a little planner obsessed.......
Just a little planner and stationary addiction - okay, I may have more planners than fingers and toes & that's all I'm admitting to! ;)
All the Cocoa Vanilla Studio collections are so darn pretty that they're perfect for planner decorating, expressing yourself in style and,  for creating your own planner accessories too!
For all the Erin Condren & Happy Planner people out there - this first one is for you!
This week inside my Happy Planner......
CVS Happy Planner1Yep. That be a whole lot of Love Always planner love right there!
Isn't this looking too pretty!!! I wanted to share the before the pen shots, as some weeks can get a lil crazy for me! (& I am sure you don't really want to know what my weekly schedule looks like either)
Let's quickly start by mentioning that sweet planner charm! I made it in less than 2 minutes from the butterfly charm and tassel that come in the Bits n Pieces pkt. I simply attached them with a ring, a small length of chain and a tiny lobster clasp. Too easy & doesn't it look divine?!!
The larger size of the Happy Planner is perfect for all those extra appointments and daily details, but the boxes are just a tad to boring for me....
Needless to say, I used the gorgeous pattern papers from Love Always to form decorative boxes. & add a lil colour to my day! As this is a functional appointment keeper for me, I was careful to select softer paper designs that I can write on & still be able to read my appointments. You 'll also notice a few sticker boxes, perfect for highlighting events/details in my schedule. I should add, that apart from the planner & that super cute pen, everything else you see is Cocoa Vanilla Studio! I know, right? Planner bliss with Love Always!
Let's take a closer look.....
CVS Happy Planner2I do love creative expression - it's part of who I am - so decorating my planner pages is the quick 10 minutes out of my Sunday night where I can play, and plan my week ahead. I love playing with paper, and sometimes, I just need to get stuff done;
Happy Planning is my solution!
CVS Happy Planner6
So preeeeeeetty!
CVS Happy Planner5
I've used some of the new glitter enamel dots as an alternative to check boxes  - aren't they sweet?! I also cut apart a striped 3 x 4 journal card to use as a Lister's Gotta List note section. Page flags are a must for reminders & that Puffy Sticker one would have to be my all time favourite! Love it!
The die cut ephemera packs are perfect for creating cute planner clips and page markers, as are the flair buttons, and the pretty odds and ends in the Bits n Pieces packets too!
CVS Happy Planner3
Bitty bows and buttons are perfect adornments to any planner aficionado's page spreads!
Oh, & how cute is that tiny peg from the Bits n Pieces too? Ideal for book marking my next monthly view!
But maybe you're not into the larger vertical page spreads? No worries, my next planner is my everyday, personal go-to;
This week inside my Kikki K medium.....
CVS Happy Planner10This is my planner baby! I love my Kikki K  - it's smaller and easier to cart about, and well, it just gives me planner peace! & you can probably see why! She is soooooo pretty!
The inserts are a lot boring - so I do like to 'dress' them up a bit! I've used a foil washi tape to compliment the Love Always collection as well as a few other accessories and gold hardware from my stash, just to give it a little bling! The pattern paper Bouquet is my absolute favourite, so I created decorative boxes with it. Sure, I won't be able to write over these, but if I do need more space, I'll add a sticker box or memo note on top ;)
CVS Happy Planner9Loving the typewriter font Accessory Stickers - great mini titles for organising your day with. The ephemera heart envelope is just a planner dream - I mean who doesn't heart #happymail?!! A gorgeous embellishment that I've turned into a planner clip. You'll also  spy the Love Always Wood Veneers on this planner spread too! I adore those sweet printed hearts! The larger one has been backed with a paperclip so I can use to mark my pages easily!
CVS Happy Planner8Oh, & how's that sweet tab Puffy Sticker - ADORBS!!!! Planner geeks be like, I NEED these!!! Just divine!
And that's a peak into all my Planner Things this week....
But don't worry, I am back next month with a few ideas on creating your own planner pockets, dashboards, clips and traveller's notebooks too! Here's a sneak peak for next month's plannerific post....CVS Happy Planner7
Oh how I totally adore those sweet planner charms!
Be sure to make a few of your own from the Bits n Pieces pkt ;)
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my planner inspiration,
til next time,
Happy Arty Days,

Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Love Always: Sweet layout

Hi Cocoa Vanilla Studio Friends!
Welcome back for more Love Always inspiration!
Today I am sharing a really simple - but very sweet -page that I think you'll really like! ;)
I've made a feature of the Geo Heart that originally debuted in the Colour Me Happy collection, but is now a leading element in Love Always. I've also used it's corresponding cut file too!
But enough chattering, here it is....
"Sweet"
LA 1
This truly is the sweetest moment captured!!! I think all those hearts say it all! A super simple layout design, that really draws you in with that enlarged Geo Heart cut file.
That large heart is the perfect base for my sweet photograph, and is pieced together with the pattern papers, Note To Self, and Frolic. The entire layout is mounted on the pattern paper; Lovely Things & the softness of the grey combined with the tiny hearts print is just too perfect for this layout! The hearts really are the theme to this page - so let's take a closer look at a few of them....
First up, check out the bright colours in the Die Cut Ephemera hearts - such fun!
LA 2But it's definitely the Wood Veneer hearts that steal my heart! I mean, how exquisitely cut is the veneer version of the cut file?!! Simply aaah-mazing!!!
LA 4
And the script title, 'sweet' is beautifully cut too! But back to those hearts - how about the printed veneer in the lower cluster?! Seriously!!! LOVE it!
LA 3And I can't forget to mention that polka dot heart flair! Just adorable! So many sweet embellishments in the Love Always collection to dress your pages with! How pretty are the printed vellum accents butterflies?!!
Oh yeah, even the chipboard accent stickers feature hearts! Winning! ;)
LA 5I adore the type writer font word accessory stickers too - they're a bit of a favourite with me! So functional & versatile!
And there you have it!
A quick, no fuss layout that looks fabulous because everything coordinates together so very well! Got to love how cleverly designed this collection is! That, and of course, how pretty it is! ;)
Hope I've inspired you today,
Thanks for stopping by! Til next time,

Imaginarium Designs: August Creations

Hi Creative Friends!

Welcome back for a little more Imaginarium Designs inspiration with Amanda :)
I have three very different (but all inspiring) layouts to share with you today,
so let's get straight into it!
First up, I have this very delicate and super sweet girly page,
"Beautiful"

Isn't this just the sweetest?! Told you it was delicate!
I used patterned papers and ephemera from Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Life Is Beautiful collection, as well as a few intricate chippie designs! The soft mixed media background is a combination of gel medium, crystal snow fine glitter and Lindy's Gang Magicals - a really pretty blend!
You'll spy twigs, butterflies and the word 'beautiful' from the versatile Imaginarium Designs range!

The tiny word title works with the delicacy of the layout, but I've treated it with some Gold ink to make it stand out all the same. She truly is our Beautiful girl!
Let's take a closer look at the other chippies.....

Aren't these butterflies just so prrreeeetty! I've used Versa Ink: Sea Foam on both of them, and then layered a hand punched butterfly over one of them. The layering adds dimension, and interest to the chipboard. Cute result!
I used the same layering on the Versa Ink: Petal Pink butterfly below too!

But it's the white embossed twigs that are my favourites! So intricate and fine!
Perfect for my ephemera bloom cluster!

Simply stunning!

My second layout that I am sharing with you today is still on the pretty side but quite a different look....
"My Best Friend"

Wow! I love everything about this layout!
From that dear photo, through to the colours, the gold glitter, the watercolour background,
The Cut Shoppe cut files & of course, those perfect chipboard pieces - I love it all!
Let's start with that swirly frame which I've used to matte my photo onto....

I love how it just pops from behind my photo, discretely drawing your eye into my photo.
I've given it a good coat of American Crafts: Archival Pigment Ink  in Amethyst. The depth of the purple really works with all the blues in the background.
But it's that chipboard phrase title that wows me......

I've used a glitter gold embossing powder on this chipboard & doesn't it sparkle?!! Really fabulous, bold, big impact result, ideal for a title. Love!

Imaginarium Designs Products:

And my final creation for you today is a layout that I created for a Paper Issues challenge this month, but it was just too divine not to take a closer look at......

"You are AMAZING"

So stunning! Love all the gold trimmings on this layout!
Infact, I think it's safe to say I am crushing on gold titles at the moment too! I've used Versa Ink in Gold for all the chippies, as well as a little of that glitter treatment on a few of the hearts too. Here's a close up for you....

Naww! They really do love each other so very much! To keep the page flowing, I've ensured that both the word love and phrase title are of a similar font too......

Ooooh! All that glittering gold; love, love, LOVE!!!

And there you have it! A rather golden start to the month!
